Oh, and BTW, WTF is #POTP?
#POTP is the trending hashtag for Participants of the Project, Book One in the INCE Trilogy by D.S. Kirchen. The trend was triggered by a Twitter conversation between cre8tvdeb (@cre8tvdeb) and Call Me Halp (@halpernensohn) that gives hints and highlights of the book's plot. The recent surge in popularity of the new trilogy is now being amplified by the #POTP trend. Admittedly, the tweets contain plenty of colorful language and acronyms (#POTP, #LTP, WTF, BTW, etc.), but there was just enough intrigue to trigger interest. The dystopian themes and political intrigue in Participants of the Project, Book One in the INCE Trilogy reveal a completely plausible tale of biotechnology and political power gone bad. Very bad. If put in the hands of the wrong individual, the consequences would be globally dire. But the trilogy is about more than this plot, it’s about the bond the reader will form with the characters – ordinary people with emotional baggage and excessively stable lifestyles – who, in the face of terrible peril, must trust new friends as they confront horrible fears and take dreadful action. And somehow in the midst of all of this, they must accept their plight in this sinister game.
The author, Debbie S. Kirchen has set up a series of snippets via a collection of blogs that all represent her writing style and the means by which she creates her characters. #POTP also culminated with a series of #free workbooks, called The Writer's Toolkit, in which she describes the fun exercises she employs as she writes her stories.
